Toner-Crete has reached another major stage of our commercial concrete project in Butler, with more than 100 tilt-up concrete panels prefabricated on-site and the installation of the panels progressing across the development.

This follows the earlier stages of the Butler project, which included extensive footing, reinforcement and ground slab works across the development.

The latest stage demonstrates Toner-Crete’s capability to deliver multiple components of large-scale commercial concrete construction, progressing from structural concrete and slabs through to the manufacture and installation of tilt-up concrete panels.

100+ Tilt Panels Prefabricated On-Site

More than 100 concrete tilt panels have been prefabricated directly on-site as part of the Butler development.

Producing the panels on-site allows the panel construction to be integrated into the wider project program and provides an efficient approach for large commercial developments requiring significant numbers of structural concrete panels.

Once the panels are ready, they can be progressively lifted from the casting area and positioned as the building structure takes shape.

Tilt Panel Installation Underway

The project images show the progression from completed concrete slabs and panels through to the lifting and installation of the tilt panels.

Using specialist lifting equipment, the large concrete panels are carefully raised into position before being temporarily braced while the wider building structure progresses.

As additional panels are installed, the scale and layout of the commercial development becomes increasingly visible.
